The project aims to rehabilitate and prepare damaged mosques in Syria for the month of Ramadan. Mosques play an essential role in Islamic communities as centers for worship, education, and social interaction. However, due to the long war, many mosques were damaged and lost basic services.
The project works to restore these mosques by:
Installing solar power systems to ensure continuous electricity.
Providing carpets and furnishing the mosques.
Supplying sound systems and Quran shelves.
The goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for worshippers and to restore the spiritual and social role of mosques in affected villages.
The project includes rehabilitating 10 mosques in different towns and villages, with a total estimated cost of about $76,502.
